rinaldo is gone. 5 days in singapore with him, we put much effort in making him feel more than welcomed. we stayed over at his house for mahjong with so many others, and planned to organise a steamboat at his house for him. but because all of us didn't have any sleep the day before at his house, reached home at 7am all groggy, we decided to sleep in since it was a saturday morning. i set my alarm and woke up at 1, but received no messages or missed calls, and took it that the idea of having a steamboat had been dropped. went to visit chinatown with my mom and brother, and took some macros, and witness people selling coca cola at $2 per can, and saw so many new year goodies going at 5 boxes for $11 only, and tasted free samples of everything there. then on sunday, dex, carv, ben and i cab from clementi to changi, each wrote a small note for him to bid him farewell, and all left in our own ways.

from eileen's camera.

no idea why nobody teared, no idea why some didn't turn up, no idea why he has to go to aussie to study, but glad that people took their offs respectively and took time out to send our small boy home. bon voyage, bless you goodness in your future endeavours, and we love you (though i doubt you'll ever be reading this).
and to add on, i have submitted my JAE application and am glad my mom didn't allow/push/encourage me to attempt to take courses such as business studies or tourism. not that i am 100% sure i can make it, but it's really fulfilling to have your entire family back you up in doing what you have always wanted to do.
