on the 11th of january, carvey dragged himself out of bed, and attempted to make my birthday a little much more unforgettable. we ate at nana thai and national treasure-ed at lido, where we coincidentally saw the maxi-cab driver that fetch us to and fro our class chalet. singapore smaller than an ipod shuffle. then, i went to vivo to meet up with 3 more other beings and ate at marche for the very first time in my 17 years of life. not appealing at all, and expensive enough to fund for my next porter. dex and za met us at vivo after their work.

3 days later, my mom accompanied me around singapore to search high and low for a set of a HTC touch. we went from imm, to vivo city, and lastly, to ang moh kio. imm - sales consultant as rude as a mr goh soon hua, syncing the particular last syllabus of his sentence perfectly with the blink of the eye, like speaking in a matter-of-factly manner. the best part is the sales consultants at the imm outlet failed to give me the contact number of the outlet in vivo city. so i 1633-ed. the 1633 operator said, "yes, we have less than 10 sets left." and so, we drove up to vivo city. my mom doesn't drive a pick up truck (though some can be really fast but clumsy). she drives a standard saloon car, at quite an acceptable speed. but when we reached the outlet, they sorry-no-more-stocks-left me. i started calling other "exclusive partners of starhub" outlet and after a few calls, we reserved a black HTC touch. then i yay around vivo city and had some spring in my footsteps, i urged my mom to skip that dress shop, dragged her to the carpark, and asked my brother to zoom at 200km/h. when we reached there, they say they couldn't recontract with a corporate plan at exclusive partners' shop. so i dialled 1633, and they said they could do it through the phone. but the party standing in front of me decided that travelling from imm, to vivo city, and then down to ang mo kio is not a good-enough reason for him to hand over his bloody last set of HTC touch, and refused to recontract my line with a corporate plan. very angry joey stomped off with a wave of the hand, shouting, "how can they play us out.?!" in a very rude manner, and created quite a commotion. the 1633 operator called us back and asked us of the outcome of the situation. my mom, for the first time, was a very wise women. she spoke over the phone with a machiam going to die crestfallen tone, saying, "actually, my family members were all starhub users. we always patronize your west mall outlets since it is near our place, but always receive bad service. now, my son's line is the last one that is under your company. i am very disappointed today, and i am actually considering whether i should change to singtel, since they offer better services there." wah, that made the 1633 operator yak non stop, like promoting a health product that could cure any disease on earth, and also made her promise that she'll update me on the availability of stocks of the HTC touch. then within the next day, my mom drove me to vivo city again at 8pm, and i am installing softwares such as lexisgloo's english dictionary, mapking's map of singapore, gba emulator, and many more. my next toy after the d40x - http://www.htc.com/product/03-product_htctouch.htm

but i admit - i look terribly wrong with a pocket pc.
