my results are very lousy. about 30 students will be retained, and that number is coming only from the normal acad students. i'm quite sure i will be promoted, but it's a disaster knowing how well i passed. students in newtown talk about passing only, and not whether they got their As. it's demoralising to know how much students nowadays care less about their academic results. for the secondary 2 students who are streaming currently, i urge all of you to keep yourselves away from design and technology as a subject as far away as possible, unless you have a special talent or you have a passion for it. otherwise, try to get into a class with A maths as a subject. i heard from a secondary 2 student that only class 3/1 and 3/2 are offering A maths as a subject, which is the stupidest thing any principal can do.

on a happier note, the whole secondary 3 level made history today. i applaud the actions of each one of you. you are true heroes. from what i heard, only 15 people from the secondary 3 level turned up today because there was a talk on fire safety which will last all the way till 5pm. who in the right mind will attend such a talk, especially when the examinations are well over.? the principal should sit at her office at the corner of the general office and do some reflection. this is the worst post-exam activity you can plan for us. let us run and sweat, or let us waste our brain juices by formulating plans and ways to win the board game we're playing.! not some stupid fire safety talk.! and to make it worse, girls will be suspended for 3 days (which is paradise, because there's only a week left in this last semester) and guys will be caned, for those who failed to turn up. another evidence to show that our principal is nothing but a bony women. here's what every principal in the whole world can do, if they have no idea or lousy ideas for post-exam activites for their students: check on your articulation, pronunciation, and most importantly, go for a bloody brain-scan.! these are highly recommended by me for my own principal. and yes, this is what they call care and concern.
