yesterday, gerald and i went to a certain place because i wanted to chip wood off my sticks. we played for 1.5 hours and i had fun. i think this holiday will not be a holiday if it is not for these sessions. come to think of it, it has been 2 years since gerald and i played together. i remember the only song we knew how to play on our guitars was better man by robbie williams. we were often mocked at. the only chords i knew were extremely basic, and soon enough, i realised i needed to learn to barre chords to play a wider variety of songs. under gerald's guidance, i eventually learnt to barre chords. that's when it all happened. a wider variety of songs, a greater amount of fun. right now, we're already playing songs like crazy by simple plan, somebody's watching over me by hilary duff which all the required chords are barre chords, and even coming up with notes and chords of our own to kill time.! (and it sounds o-kay.) not forgetting all the christian songs. who would have thought all this would happen.? it's not like we're aiming for fame, radio or MTV. i guess we're just playing to satisfy our ears. it may seemed to gerald that this is a waste of time, since he gets to play on stage almost every week for church service, but to me, i think it is a neccesity. as we constantly improve ourself over the months(in which ever instrument), we find it hard to play together without fighting occasionally. BUT, WE'RE STILL WE.! and not forgetting the mini little performances we got on the 22nd Oct, and even the most recent Salvation Army one (although it was extremely screwed up). WE HAD AWESOME FREAKING FUN.!

fans, football fans, as you may have already figured, the world cup starts on the 9th of June. who are you rooting for.? this is so random, but i have a gut feeling argentina will go far and go on to win the World Cup 2006.
