Rock For Good 06 TOTALLY KICKED MY FREAKING ASS.! :D i waited and waited and waited because the smart organisers chose to place Ronin and Electrico as the last 2 bands. the other bands are just using ronin and electrico as some source to hold the people back. everybody was literally either sleeping, sitting or just plain lying around in the hall, until Ronin came in. this was what happened:

i left for the gig right after my tuition cos i was afraid Ronin would be the first band to play. i cabbed to rgs and Ronin wasn't the first band to play. -.- the staggering $11 was a total waste of my money. carvey was the only one supposed to accompany me, but smart carvey asked dex, zhiyong and wending along.! ): i predicted them to leave earlier, and yes they did. i knew they couldn't appreciate such music. they don't understand. they left around at the time when the third band was introduced in. and they left for chingay. -.- who cares, my $10 was totally worth it. when i reached rgs, i bought the Ronin cd and i even took a picture with LEVAN OF RONIN.! wooo feel happy for me people. i took it with zhiyong's ROKR motorola phone and he haven't got the chance to transfer it into the computer. after taking the awesome picture with levan, zhiyong decided to try to blend in and take a picture with him. hurhur.... the first few band didn't caught any speck of my attention, except maybe for two, skyjuice and west grand boulevard. skyjuice was totally sucky. they played instrumental, and if some of you readers don't understand what's that, that means no singing, just playing. instrumental, with some horrible heavy distorted guitar. yes they may be good with their solos, but i still didn't like it. everyone was just moving about the hall when they were playing. west grand boulevard could be the closest replacement to Ronin. their songs were good, although i couldn't listen to most of the words because the sound system sucked. they rocked, i mean "rock" not "rule", but "rock"... yeah get it.? i don't think so... hurhur. then there was this 3-man band which supposedly gigged at 200 over different places over at australia. The Suns. what a stupid name to name their band. they did rock a lil bit, but they looked so angmoh. in between all these that happened, we did went down to the canteen for some rest and drink, and i had my cd autographed by levan personally.! and he actually talked to me.!

levan: which school are you from.?
joey: new town.
carvey: when will you be playing.?
levan: about 50 minutes more.
joey: shit we came specially for you only la.
levan: oh thanks man..

WOO that was the first time in my entire life sweet talking to somebody else (if you consider that as sweet talking), and it's to a guy.! AND AFTER THE SUNS, WHAT I WAS WAITING FOR FINALLY CAME.! R-O-N-I-N. they were awesome, really really. i doubt pictures of the Rock For Good has been posted up on their official site. everybody was singing along with Levan and band. i swear to myself i'm gonna memorise all their lyrics before the next time i go to their gig.

if you people have read my blog last night, you would have known that i will update this post with pictures. but i've tried and it seems impossible. therefore i'll just continue blogging without the pictures. after Ronin left for electrico to be introduced, everybody started shouting "encore encore," just like they did to me on the 22nd. :D heh i'm not trying to show off, i'm just so proud of how God has made me. (: yes, Ronin came back and levan said, "okay we'll play another one." and the lead guitarist, the very very handsome and hot guitarist, came in and started the intro of sweet child o mine by guns and roses.! everyone was super high.! imagine you being in my shoes and your favourite band is going. but they came in and played some heart thumping song. i loved that moment.! everybody of each band came in and dance around with Ronin, and the cutey bassist of electrico was pushed to the crowd. yes, he was pushed back. everybody had great great fun la. after that it was electrico. i'm gonna talk about amanda ling. she's such a hot babe la. her make up was extremely thick on saturday. and david tan, the vocals of electrico, was damn hunky. he's a bit fat but he's damn handsome. go check them out at www.electricomusic.com i hope this link works. =x

i really do hope i have pictures to show you people, as in paints a thousand words. -.- this is so dumb. just take down the name and i'm sure you'll be able to find them on singapore search engines. yeah i just had my chinese and physics test today. they seemed alright to me. i skipped lit vap. ): i don't know why, but i missed the chance. i guess i'll stop whatever i'm doing now, and start studying for my chemisty test tmr. ciao readers.!
